Enhancing Neuroscience Diversity through Undergraduate Research Education Experiences (ENDURE)

ENDURE aims to raise interest and opportunities in neuroscience research for individuals who are typically underrepresented in the field, including individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups; individuals with disabilities; and individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Their goal is to provide such individuals with training at the undergraduate level, so that they are prepared to enter and successfully complete neuroscience PhD programs. ENDURE undergraduate training programs will support a range of activities to increase student interest and involvement in the neurosciences, including research experiences, core and advanced neuroscience courses, seminars, and journal clubs.

ENDURE also receives institutional funding support from these specific units: Provost, Dean of Graduate School, College of Natural Science, College of Human Medicine, College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, Neuroscience Program, Department of Physiology, and the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
