Taylor Desjarlais joined Michigan State University in June of 2021 as a Research Assistant for Dr. David Morgan and Dr. Marcia Gordon. She graduated from Grand Valley State University in April of 2020 with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience. During her time at GVSU she worked in the lab of Dr. Elizabeth Flandreau researching the neurobiological interaction between stress and diet, and after completing her own research project she presented her work at the international Society for Neuroscience conference in 2019. Her areas of expertise include immunohistochemistry, rodent handling/behavior, and data analysis. Taylor is eager to expand her knowledge and expertise in the Gordon/Morgan lab to assist her in continuing her educational endeavors in the future to obtain a PhD. Outside of the lab she loves to exercise, read, listen to music, and spend time with her friends.
