Bio
Sydney Zimmerman joined Michigan State University in January 2026 as a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin Combs. She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University, followed by an M.S. in Biomedical Science with a research concentration. During her time at GVSU, Sydney conducted research in the laboratory of Dr. Eric Ramsson, where her work focused on neurotransmission and dopamine signaling. Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, playing sports, and connecting with friends.
