Sierra Boyd received her B.S. in neuroscience and a minor in pharmacology and toxicology from Michigan State University. In 2019 she joined the pharmacology and toxicology PhD program with a dual major in environmental and integrative toxicological sciences. She currently works in the laboratory of Dr. Alison Bernstein studying the role in which developmental exposures to neurotoxicants increase the risk of Parkinson’s disease using the alpha- synuclein pre-formed fibril model of synucleinopathy.
