Mohammed Alhadidy got his Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, Egypt. For six years, he practiced pharmacy in different clinical settings and witnessed the suffering of patients with neurological and psychiatric conditions, which kindled his interest in the neuroscience research. In 2018, he relocated to Grand Rapids, MI and joined MSU as a graduate student in the Neuroscience PhD program. Mohammed currently works on his PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Nicholas Kanaan, where they study the impact of different post-translational modifications on tau biology.
