David Morgan is the recipient of the Zenith Award ($450,000 over three years). This award is given to senior researchers in Alzheimer's Disease. 3-4 are awarded each year. This project seeks to develop a new drug activating serotonin receptors to treat the psychiatric symptoms common in people living with Alzheimer's disease, rather than focusing on the memory impairments. The title of the grant is: 5HT2c treatment of psychological symptoms of dementia.
